Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a Retail Supervisor for its Golf Shop to supervise the golf retail operation and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will ensure revenue opportunities are maximised, lead a busy team, and uphold safety standards across the shop floor.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, golf retail expertise, and outstanding service, with a base annual rate of £27,639 plus service charge.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf retail either as part of a Golf Club or standalone sports business.
• Experience leading a team within a busy retail environment.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a warm welcome to clientele and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory control for the retail stock operation.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints, updating the golf management team as required.
• Conduct regular pre- and post-shift briefings with the team.
• Support the head professional with additional retail activities at the academy.
• Coordinate the after-sales service and liaise with the golf academy team to fit custom equipment.
