Job summary

The Grove is seeking a Golf Sales Manager to handle incoming golf event enquiries, draft proposals, and ensure contractual paperwork is completed before planning with clients. The role uses diary and yield management to meet sales targets and develop relationships with current clients for future business.

Applicants should have excellent communication, sales experience in golf, and knowledge of Salesforce, Lightspeed, and Golf Genius.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills and strong PC skills (Word/Excel).
• Experience in a sales role within the golf industry.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Lightspeed and Golf Genius.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle and convert client enquiries following the sales strategy.
• Follow selling strategies using diary and yield management to meet targets.
• Retain and develop relationships with current clients to secure future business.
• Develop corporate growth by contacting previous groups and tour operators.
• Occasionally conduct sales trips to drive new golf business.
• Plan site inspections and show rounds for clients and manage events.
