Job summary

Leisure People operates a premier golf and country club in Sevenoaks, Kent, and is seeking an Events Sales Manager to drive private parties, weddings, corporate meetings, and team-building events through local outreach and networking.

The role focuses on generating new revenue, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering outstanding guest experiences in a busy venue. Basic salary £35k plus £14k commission with uncapped OTE for high achievers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within venue sales, hospitality event sales, corporate event sales, or a similar commercially driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across private parties/events, weddings, corporate meetings/ functions/team building and seasonal events through proactive sales activity.
• Generate new business through networking, cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, local partnerships, and client relationship development.
• Manage the full sales journey from enquiry and proposal creation through to negotiation, confirmation, and operational handover.
• Conduct engaging venue show rounds and client presentations to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, members, and local businesses to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and market insight to support commercial decision-making.
