Job summary

JCB Golf & Country Club in Staffordshire is hiring an enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our Academy team. You will welcome members and guests, operate a till, merchandise goods, and help manage stock across the shop and coaching studios.

Experience in retail and IT skills are helpful. PGA qualification or trainee status is preferred but not required; weekend work is essential. DBS check will be carried out at offer stage.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
• Knowledge of retail operations and stock replenishment.
• Adequate IT skills for till and stock systems.
• Broad golf knowledge including etiquette and formats.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Members and Guests to the Golf Club, assisting with requests.
• Operate a Till System to process daily Golf Shop Sales.
• Merchandise and replenish stock for a world class retail presentation.
• Manage & organize a storeroom of shop stock including receiving and stock takes.
• Oversee the presentation of two Coaching studios and one Putting studio.
• Assist with Member & Guest Golf Activities.
• Manage the practice facilities & Buggy Fleet Management.
