Job summary

Drayton Village Care Centre in West London seeks Registered Nurses with an NMC pin to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents. You will lead the care team, supervise staff, and ensure medicines and wound care are administered safely while maintaining excellent documentation and communication with the wider care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Experience in elder care or care home setting preferred.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to administer medicines in line with policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain effective verbal and written communications with residents and staff.
• Manage wound care and medicines according to policy.
• Supervise and appraise staff; participate in training.
• Assist Manager with budget-related tasks.
• Complete duty rota and assess prospective residents.
• Conduct internal quality audits.

We are looking for Registered Nurses with a valid NMC pin number to share our mission:

What does the role involve?

• Achieve a high standard of care.
• Leading the care team to deliver outcomes for the people that we support
• Maintain effective communications, both verbal and written, making accurate reports on residents and inform other members of the senior care team of day to day changes.
• Wound management
• Ensure that care procedures are carried out according to policy.
• Be responsible for the ordering, administration and recording of medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Provide appropriate personal care for residents e.g., washing and dressing and toileting.
• Provide physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
• Carry out Staff Supervision and Appraisals with Team/Unit allocated.
• Implement changes in routine and/or procedures as agreed with the Manager.
• Assessment of perspective clients/residents.
• Completion of the duty rota as necessary.
• Carry out Internal Quality Audits as agreed with the Manager.
• Participate fully in the training and development of all grades of staff.
• Assist Manager to work within agreed budgets – Mainly Deputy Manager responsibilities
