Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead aseptic compounding operations, oversee multiple teams and ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing for UK and Ireland markets.

Reporting to the Unit or Operations Manager, you will drive performance, coach leaders and maintain safety standards while delivering continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership and direct line management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders, Deputy Team Leaders and manufacturing associates to achieve operational excellence.
• Act as a visible leader on the production floor, upholding GMP, safety and performance.
• Drive production plan adherence and monitor KPIs to address challenges and improve results.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering and Logistics to meet requirements.
• Optimise manufacturing processes, equipment utilisation and resource efficiency.
• Lead investigations into deviations, complaints and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and change control activities.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, regulatory, and EH&S requirements.
• Support audit readiness and participate in inspections.
• Maintain and update SOPs and documentation.
• Recruit, develop and retain talent and foster inclusive culture.
• Provide cover for Unit/Operations Manager and participate in leadership meetings.
