Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Production Supervisor Lead Manufacturing Excellence to guide multiple teams responsible for aseptic compounding of products across the UK and Ireland. You will champion GMP compliance, safety and performance while driving continuous improvement on a fully site-based shift pattern.

You will lead, mentor and develop leaders and operators, ensuring efficient, compliant manufacturing operations that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership and direct line management experience.
• Experience managing end-to-end manufacturing operations within a complex production environment.
• Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement, optimisation or investigational projects.
• Working knowledge of GMP principles and quality systems.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Experience using data and KPIs to drive operational decision-making and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders, Deputy Team Leaders and associates to achieve operational excellence.
• Act as a visible leader on the production floor, setting high GMP, safety and performance standards.
• Drive production plan adherence and monitor key KPIs, addressing challenges to improve results.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering and Logistics to meet business and customer requirements.
• Optimise processes, equipment utilisation and resource efficiency.
• Support deviations, complaints and root cause investigations with sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and change control activities while maintaining compliance.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory, corporate and EH&S requirements.
• Support audit readiness and participate in internal, corporate and regulatory inspections.
