Job summary

Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Production Manager to lead the GMP Unit’s manufacturing campaigns and related processes. The post holder will drive production scheduling, ensure quality and compliance, and work with the Head of Quality to uphold the unit's SOPs and QA programs.

The role involves managing staff, maintaining documentation, and developing policies to support GMP operations and product safety across projects in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in an appropriate subject (MSc or equivalent).
• Desirable: PhD or equivalent qualification.
• Experience managing production, quality and documentation within a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production processes of the GMP Unit and ensure licencing compliance.
• Develop and maintain production schedules in line with budget.
• Design and deliver relevant training for unit staff and users.
• Develop manufacturing processes for campaigns and maintain required documentation.
