Job summary

Moderna is establishing a leading Harwell facility to support onshore mRNA vaccine production in the UK. As a Warehouse Shift Specialist on a fixed-term contract, you will manage goods receipt, inventory, and internal deliveries in a GMP/GDP environment, reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Operations Lead.

You will use SAP and Smartsheet to ensure accurate documentation, coordinate materials for 24/7 manufacturing, and contribute to efficiency and traceability.

Qualifications

• Educated to a high standard.
• Experience in GMP or GDP operations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
• Ability to lift and move products.
• Proficient use of SAP, Smartsheet, Word and Excel.
• Flexible when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound deliveries and goods receipt with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain quality documentation in QMS, ensuring traceability.
• Support manufacturing with material picking and verification.
• Ensure compliant material handling, labeling and storage.
• Coordinate internal material deliveries to stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in SAP via daily transactions.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage expired and segregated materials in SAP.
• Support wider logistics operations and deliveries.
• Complete required training and ensure procedural compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse workflows and implement digital tools.
