Job summary

Moderna Harwell is seeking a hands-on production operator to join our mRNA vaccine manufacturing operations. You will operate equipment in a cGMP environment, follow SOPs, maintain documentation and safety practices, and collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure timely batch disposition and continuous improvement.

You will learn new technologies and may engage with Generative AI tools to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• University degree with specialization in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience with filtration and chromatography and cold chain management is a plus.
• Experience in audit/inspection preparation and understanding health authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP, SOPs and approved manufacturing documentation.
• Operate production equipment safely while adhering to safety procedures.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping in manufacturing areas.
• Identify and report compliance, health and safety issues to Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to complete and close documentation for timely batch disposition.
• Participate in investigations (incident, deviation) including Root Cause Analysis and CAPA activities.
• Support operational KPI objectives and digital initiatives to improve production workflows.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process and digital issues; perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain training records and associated documentation; ensure they are current.
• Participate in multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
