Job summary

Moderna is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician for its Harwell site in the UK. Join a highly technical environment to operate production equipment in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.

You will work with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to ensure timely batch disposition and continuous improvement, including digital tooling and Generative AI. The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, flexibility for off-hours and overtime, and collaboration

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• University degree in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent.
• Experience with filtration and chromatography; cold chain management is a plus.
• Experience in audit/inspection preparation and understanding health authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, leadership and cross-functional support groups.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail while executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Operate production equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Identify and report compliance, health and safety issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to complete documentation for batch disposition.
• Participate in incident/deviation investigations and CAPA activities.
• Apply performance tools and support KPI objectives and plans.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process and digital issues.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
