Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an Associate Director within Global VAT (GVCR) to lead technical excellence across UK, EU and global markets. You will own high-impact VAT compliance, e-invoicing and reporting initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders.

The role requires strong EU tax expertise, excellent communication and project management, and a collaborative approach in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical policy support and guidance on global VAT matters.
• Communicate developments internally and across the RSM network via updates and alerts.
• Identify business development opportunities from case law and legislation.
• Prepare and review VAT compliance and reporting content for external materials.
• Respond to GVAT technical queries and support the wider team on client work.
• Create training materials and deliver trainings (live, virtual, webinars).
• Maintain tax information resources including knowledge databases and standard documents.
