Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a GVRC Compliance Manager to lead VAT compliance engagements across the UK, EU and beyond. You will provide insights on VAT returns, assure quality in indirect tax filings, and serve as the central contact for clients while mentoring junior staff.

You will drive client service excellence, understand diverse business models, and support efficiency initiatives within a growing VAT practice.

Qualifications

• Strong VAT compliance skills, ideally from a European or global role.
• Passion for VAT process improvement and technology enablement.
• Solid experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent relationship management and ability to handle international projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate VAT compliance services across UK, EU, and international markets.
• Provide expert insights on VAT returns and assure quality in indirect tax filings.
• Be a trusted advisor for clients by understanding their VAT requirements and opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Lead efficiency improvements by building a VAT knowledge centre within the team.
