Ethero in the UK is recruiting an Import & Export Coordinator for the Hams Hall area, Birmingham. The role focuses on efficient movement of goods, documentation accuracy, and timely communication with customers, suppliers, carriers and customs representatives.

You will join a growing team at a new location for the business, handling duties across documentation, tracking, and compliance to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using ASM Sequoia, Destin8 & CNS
• Experience in import/export, freight forwarding, customs, shipping and logistics
• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient MS Office usage

Responsibilities

• Daily use of ASM Sequoia and customs clearance sites to track containers, trailers and freight
• Prepare and process import and export documentation; coordinate shipments with carriers, suppliers and customers
• Assist with customs clearance and ensure compliance with requirements
• Monitor and track shipments; provide timely updates to involved parties
• Check the accuracy of invoices, packing lists and bills of lading; maintain records
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth movement of goods
• Investigate and resolve delivery, documentation and shipment issues
• Ensure all procedures comply with company policies and regulations
