Job summary

Peak Scientific in Renfrewshire (HQ area) seeks a Group Technical Specialist to support global service teams with technical guidance, training content and fault-finding initiatives. You will bridge Global Service, Group Technical and Training to improve first-time-fix performance and overall service excellence.

You will translate field insights into learning requirements and collaborate with Technology, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure service readiness and targeted improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in technical service, field service or technical training.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding.
• Ability to interpret schematics and service data.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of consistent, high-quality technical support across Peak Scientific and related brands.
• Provide technical guidance on escalations to help drive timely resolutions.
• Analyse ticket data, field feedback and service trends to identify repeat issues.
• Translate technical insight into targeted training priorities and learning requirements.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of product and fault-finding training.
• Help reduce repeat escalations and avoidable service visits through focused learning interventions.
• Work cross-functionally to support service readiness and product improvements.
