Job summary

VEKA UK is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to cover Scotland. You will support fabricators to improve manufacturing performance, product quality and operational efficiency, delivering practical solutions and guiding continuous improvement.

You’ll participate in new customer set-ups, tooling audits, and training, while collaborating with sales and product teams to drive impactful outcomes. A strong technical background and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in window/door manufacturing and installation.
• Technical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience engaging with customers in high-pressure environments.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing methods and machinery capabilities for new and existing customers, providing advice on best practices.
• Lead tooling audits for potential new customers, offering guidance on setup costs.
• Oversee new customer setups, ensuring delivery within costs and timelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team and customers to develop and implement improvement plans.
• Deliver product training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct customer site audits to assess requirements and actions.
• Utilise the CRM system for proactive planning and accurate data.
