Job summary

Deep Sea Electronics Ltd is a global leader in generator controllers and related control systems. We seek a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support to external customers and provide product development guidance to internal teams.

You will train customers and staff worldwide, visit sites for sales support or fault-finding, and contribute to documentation and testing of new features.

Qualifications

• Experience with generator control systems and diesel generators.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing support.
• Solid IT literacy and ability to use remote support tools.
• Able to concentrate for long periods and manage multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and across departments.
• Good time management and prioritisation under pressure.
• Industry experience with generators/diesel gens is preferred.
• Customer-facing experience in a technical support role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide global technical support via phone, email, remote sessions and face-to-face.
• Deliver training sessions on DSE products and applications.
• Troubleshoot and confirm issues; follow remediation procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation and manuals; proofread documents.
• Support engineering with new features and product development guidance.
• Assist testing and approvals; contribute to product validation.
• Produce monthly activity reports to the global support manager.
