Job summary

Macfarlane Group UK Ltd in Gloucester is seeking a Global Sourcing Supply Chain Coordinator for our luxury packaging team. You will coordinate enquiries, quotations and supplier communications across the UK, Europe and China, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a fast-paced office environment.

This full-time role rewards meticulous work, Excel expertise and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. We offer a basic salary up to £30,000 per annum, bonus potential, and a flexible benefits

Qualifications

• Solid commercial office background with strong systems and spreadsheet capability.
• At least 2 years’ experience in busy commercial or office environment.
• Advanced Excel: formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and suppliers.
• Willingness to learn and grow in global sourcing and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enquiries, samples, and quotations with trackers.
• Assist internal branches and colleagues across multi-site business.
• Liaise with buyers, customers and suppliers to progress enquiries.
• Convert enquiries to RFQ and coordinate responses from UK/Europe/China.
• Prepare and follow up internal and external customer quotations.
• Coordinate samples, payments, and approvals, including artwork and CAD.
• Process orders and update price lists and production orders.
• Communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Support with purchase orders, container bookings and production schedules.
• Maintain sales reports, KPIs and contact databases.
• Support visits, exhibitions and activities within our Innovation Lab when required.
• Provide general administrative support for the wider team.
