Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a Customer Service Sales Support professional in Grantham to manage customer enquiries, process orders and prepare quotations ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment.

You will liaise with Production, Procurement and Logistics, support external sales teams, and help drive customer satisfaction while developing commercial and account management skills over time.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or sales support.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to process information accurately and manage multiple orders and enquiries.
• Good written communication and professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customer enquiries via email, responding accurately and professionally.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, capturing all information.
• Prepare quotations and supporting documents; follow up as appropriate.
• Maintain customer, order and sales data in internal systems.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement and Logistics for smooth fulfilment.
• Support external Sales with customer communications and order updates.
