Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Gloucester is seeking a Global Sourcing Supply Chain Coordinator. You will support global sourcing, coordinate enquiries, quotes, supplier communications, and maintain pricing and production data in a fast-paced office.

The role requires at least 2 years in a busy commercial environment, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The package includes up to 27 days holiday, a bonus scheme and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial office background with ability to manage multiple enquiries.
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability with strong spreadsheet skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial and supply chain activities, maintaining trackers for enquiries and orders.
• Respond to internal enquiries from branches and colleagues across the business.
• Liaise with buyers, customers and suppliers to progress requirements and deliverables.
• Prepare, process and follow up internal and external customer quotations.
• Coordinate samples, payments and approvals, including CAD info and artwork where needed.
• Maintain price lists and update production orders as required.
• Support wider supply chain activities including purchase orders and production schedules.
