Job summary

GWP Group / Macfarlane Packaging in Cricklade (Swindon area) is looking for a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, driving safe, efficient and high-quality output. You will manage multi-shift teams, achieve targets and KPIs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role offers a salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits, a 40-hour week, and opportunities for development within a long-established packaging business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production in a manufacturing environment, preferably packaging.
• Ability to coach and develop multi-shift production teams.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement across processes.
• Own production execution and allocate resources to meet demand.
• Develop and coach production teams, fostering accountability and high performance.

• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
