Barbour is seeking a Shipping Administrator at our Head Office in South Shields on a temporary maternity cover basis. You will ensure right first-time shipping to global customers on time in full with high quality presentation and documentation, while maintaining clear internal and external communication.

Key duties include updating shared documents for visibility, forecasting stock movements for 3PL warehouses, meeting despatch targets, arranging forward bookings, sharing shipment docs,

Formación

• Experience in warehousing and logistics environment.
• Knowledge of shipping paperwork and procedures.
• Pro-active planning and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Update shared documents to ensure visibility across departments.
• Support forecasts for incoming/outgoing stock movements for 3PL warehouses.
• Ensure despatch targets are met by the warehouse.
• Arrange forward bookings with customers and forwarders in line with despatch plans.
• Share shipment documentation with haulers and customers ahead of despatch.
• Upload shipping information to customer portals.
• Invoice shipments in a timely manner to hit monthly targets.
• Coordinate internal stock movements with subsidiary warehouse demands.
