Job summary

James Cropper Advanced Materials seeks a Sales & Logistics Coordinator to connect customers, sales teams and the supply chain across the UK and international markets. The role ensures orders move efficiently, keeps customers informed and resolves issues to maximise profitable sales.

The successful candidate will coordinate orders, track shipments, liaise with freight partners, and support demand forecasting and stock management in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales coordination, customer operations, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and see tasks through to completion.
• Confident communication and relationship-building with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate and timely information to internal and external customers.
• Coordinating UK and export shipments with freight forwarders for smooth delivery.
• Processing and tracking customer orders and samples, reviews, and queries.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support demand forecasting and stock management.
• Tracking shipments and managing delays or delivery challenges.
• Building relationships with logistics and freight partners for cost-effective transport.
• Keeping customers updated on order progress and delivery timelines.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and service levels.
