Job summary

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in London/Birmingham is seeking a Communications Manager to shape the external profile from a regulatory perspective and deliver global communications demonstrating the impact of RICS regulation. The role is hybrid, with a strong emphasis on multi-channel campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering multi-channel communications campaigns at a global level.
• Experience working with an industry regulator or within a regulatory landscape.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, able to translate complex information.
• Strong stakeholder management within a complex, matrixed organisation.
• Strong organisation, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience of issues management and crisis communications, with familiarity with Monday.com.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a global communications plan for RICS regulation, aligned with wider strategy.
• Tailor messaging for key audiences across global stakeholders.
• Design and run multi-channel campaigns with internal and external partners.
• Create high‑quality content: newsletters, presentations, scripts, case studies and impact stories.
• Provide guidance to Regulation leadership and wider teams on communications best practices.
• Anticipate risks and manage crisis communications effectively.
