Alstom UK Transport DI&S invites applications for a Project Procurement Manager Spares Business. You will be a core member of the bid team, overseeing procurement for the country on direct and indirect goods and services, including involvement with major opportunities such as HS2.

Travel to Ireland & UK is required to attend meetings with stakeholders and suppliers. You will work with Engineering, Project Material Controller, and Installation Managers to align make-or-buy decisions and drive

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Purchasing, or equivalent.
• High-level experience in sourcing and procurement for goods and services.
• Operational experience in sourcing, engineering, or commercial projects.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal – English).
• Contract management and legal awareness.
• Certification in procurement or commercial management (desirable).
• Technical knowledge of signalling systems (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Manage sourcing QCDT commitments in tenders and projects.
• Co-manage the material work package with Supply Chain.
• Develop networks with Tender and Project teams to anticipate needs.
• Handle procurement for country—direct and indirect commodities.
• Lead tender procurement strategy and project execution.
• Coordinate interfaces between Sourcing and Project Owners.
• Ensure make-or-buy decisions are captured with all departments.
• Maintain data in sourcing tools (SAP purchasing info records, SOL, ALTeS, eProcurement).
