Zusammenfassung

Alstom is seeking a Project Supply Chain Leader to establish and develop standard processes for the TSGNL project in the UK. You will manage the depot team, ensure material availability, control spend, and optimise inventory while upholding safety and governance standards.

You will drive cost reduction, lead cross-functional collaboration, and implement logistics processes across Brighton and external facilities, enabling fleets to be supplied efficiently.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in managing CBoMs (Costed Bill Of Materials).
• Strong understanding of warehousing and logistics in rail projects.
• Proven ability to reduce costs and manage complex projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and supplier engagement.

Aufgaben

• Day to day management of the Supply Chain depot team.
• Lead the team in maintaining material availability and the delivery of all material requirements.
• Control of the project material spend & BTG.
• Drive unplanned material spend down through engagement with the relevent functions and suppliers.
• Material cost variance analysis and reporting using the TAC model and KPI's.
• Manage the development and maintenance of an accurate SAP CBOM to drive material forecasting.
• Optimise inventory levels ensuring availability.
• Safe storage of materials and consumables for the Brighton site.
• Implementation of logistics management processes to secure the supply base.
• Perpetual inventory policies and procedures adherence.
• Warehousing strategy adherence for materials on site and external facilities.
• Develop KPI's to measure performance and drive culture.
• Support strategic locations to furnish fleets with material requirements.
• Establish bogie and wheelset storage methods.
• Governance to identify project over/under spending.
• Ensure all inventory targets are achieved.
• Develop organisational capability through HR processes.
