Job summary

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of subcontracts, consultancy, plant and materials for the Euston Station Project. You will provide strategic support to the Commercial Manager and drive collaboration across the supply chain.

You will oversee procurement processes, ensure compliance with WI700 and the project management plan, and develop best practices with global suppliers to optimise value and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, commercial management or related field.
• Experience in procuring for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of EU/UK procurement legislation.
• Familiarity with NEC3 contracts.
• Experience leading procurement teams.
• CIPS qualification or working towards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of subcontracts, consultancy, plant and materials for the project.
• Lead and manage the procurement team with SMART targets.
• Coordinate procurement of subcontracts, sub-consultancies, materials and services.
• Establish procurement best practice and use of global suppliers where appropriate.
• Negotiate and place contracts with the Commercial Manager and project leads.
• Develop supplier relationships and manage performance risk to deliver objectives.
• Liaise with Engineering and Construction on specifications and technical matters.
