Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Quality Operations Engineer to support the delivery of global quality programmes, KPI reporting, and quality data analysis. The role provides analytical and operational support across multiple quality initiatives including warranty reduction, non‑conformity management, and governance improvements.

You will work with global teams to drive quality projects, develop KPIs, and maintain quality procedures while ensuring alignment with the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quality, Engineering, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
• Experience analysing data and producing management reports.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with Non‑conformance Management, Power Platform or SharePoint solutions.
• Experience developing procedures, policies, dashboards or KPI frameworks.
• Knowledge of warranty, audits and continuous‑improvement processes.
• Experience delivering training materials, workshop support or communication campaigns.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Promote Quality across VTBA to achieve requirements of Quality OGSM within the business area.
• Develop and maintain quality KPI reporting.
• Analyse quality, warranty, customer and business‑performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support Quality Management System activities such as Internal Audits.
• Coordinate and support quality projects, programmes and strategic initiatives across VTBA.
• Engage with global teams to solve business system problems to enable local objectives.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, policies, templates and guidance documents.
• Support the deployment of global ways of working through training and hyper care sessions.
