You will contribute directly to how we create high-quality products and solutions for our customers.

Your day-to-day
Operational quality strategy and capability
  • Define and lead the cross-entity operational quality strategy and improvement roadmap, aligned with divisional priorities, agreeing objectives, priorities and measures with divisional and entity leaders.
  • Own the operational quality capability framework and maturity assessment across Product Companies, Service Technology Centres and Customer Centres, assessing capability gaps and leading targeted development plans.
  • Partner with divisional and entity leaders to identify and improve Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) processes, ensuring effective process controls, inspection methods, capability measures and escalation mechanisms.
  • Lead the cross-entity deployment of proven best practices and lessons learned, tracking adoption and improvements in operational performance and customer outcomes.
Process controls, inspection, test and performance
  • Drive the effectiveness of inspection and test processes with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams, ensuring risk-based controls, suitable measurement methods and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Lead improvement of critical process capability and measurement system effectiveness, reducing variation, detection gaps, repeat failures and quality escapes.
  • Drive increased use of operational and quality performance data to improve decision‑making, prioritise improvement and verify corrective action effectiveness.
  • Identify systemic risks by connecting customer feedback, warranty and failure trends, operational performance and audit findings, prioritising cross-entity prevention.
Business Management System and audit assurance

  • Lead common process design and BMS integration, including new acquisitions, aligning operational controls with VTBA standards and applicable customer, legal, regulatory and ISO requirements.
  • Own and centrally manage the risk-based internal audit programme across the Semiconductor divisions and entities, setting priorities, scope, schedules and resources.
  • Use audit findings to drive systemic improvement, monitoring actions, escalating overdue or high‑risk items and verifying corrective action effectiveness before closure.
Leadership, governance and reporting
  • Line‑manage and develop the Global Quality Systems Specialist, setting clear objectives while retaining accountability for system effectiveness and the central audit programme.
  • Build commitment to common priorities through entity Quality Managers and cross‑functional leaders, with clear responsibilities for standards, local QMS activities, certification and systems administration.
  • Report to divisional top management on operational quality performance, capability and maturity, systemic risks and improvement benefits, using insights to shape management reviews, quality priorities and OGSM deployment.
Your Skills And Experience
  • Strong experience in quality management, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or service environment.
  • Experience improving quality performance across different teams, sites or regions. A good understanding of ISO 9001, quality management systems and auditing.
  • Practical experience using quality and problem‑solving tools such as 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC or MSA.
  • Confidence using data and insights to spot trends, understand risks and identify opportunities for improvement. A track record of leading change and continuous improvement, bringing others with you along the way.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels and across different countries and cultures.
  • An engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification/experience.
  • A collaborative, curious and practical approach to solving problems and improving how things are done.
  • Flexibility to work with global teams and travel internationally when needed.
