Job summary

Camlin Group is seeking a senior professional to own centralized product safety and conformity across Digital Grid projects. You will lead risk assessments, drive global compliance, and orchestrate governance to reduce risks and accelerate safe delivery.

With 5+ years in product safety or quality in energy/high-tech sectors, you will influence global teams, enforce standards, and ensure manuals and warnings clearly communicate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or related.
• Certifications in risk management, quality standards or process governance (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) desirable.
• 5+ years of hands-on product safety, functional safety, quality assurance or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with digital grid tech, IoT devices, or smart infrastructure advantageous.
• Proficiency in risk assessment frameworks, auditing tools, QMS and governance methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and ensure robust product safety processes across Digital Grid segments.
• Conduct independent reviews to verify risk assessments and mitigation across design, development, deployment.
• Document residual risks with clear user-centric manuals and warnings.
• Ensure compliance with standards and evolving regulations across products.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead product safety governance with segment teams and drive cross-unit alignment.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety risk management into planning.
• Promote continuous improvement of safety processes and compliance.
