Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Product Manager – Control & Protection Systems to shape the strategic direction for a critical grid technology portfolio. You will connect engineering capability to market needs, define long-term roadmaps, and ensure C&P systems remain technically excellent and commercially competitive.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product management or technical leadership within power transmission or grid stability.
• Strong understanding of control and protection systems and embedded software.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product, and commercial teams.
• Structured roadmapping and lifecycle management with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap for C&P systems in transmission and grid stability.
• Own priorities, investment direction, and long-term portfolio strategy.
• Guide a team of product owners across C&P algorithms, controllers, and firmware.
• Lead real-time C&P system architecture decisions balancing performance and scalability.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into product priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and commercial teams to align direction.
• Oversee requirements, gate reviews, specs, and test plans ensuring IP protection.
• Build external relationships with GE Vernova entities, clients and suppliers.
