Job summary

Camlin is seeking a strategic leader for its Digital Grid division to act as the central guardian of product safety and conformity. You will drive risk assessments, oversee global compliance, and orchestrate centralized product safety governance to boost efficiency and reduce risks across execution units.

You will collaborate with project teams to embed safety risk management into planning and delivery, ensure residual risks are documented, and stay ahead of industry regulations through audits

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product safety, functional safety, QA, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in centralized governance within energy, utilities, or high-tech sectors.
• Experience with digital grid technologies, IoT, or smart infrastructure is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in risk assessment frameworks and audit/quality governance methodologies.
• Ability to communicate findings to leadership and influence global teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and ensure robust product safety processes across all Digital Grid segments.
• Review project artifacts for evidence of data-driven risk assessments and mitigations.
• Verify residual risks are documented with clear user-facing warnings.
• Monitor compliance with standards and emerging regulations.
• Audit and assess to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate product safety owners across segments to manage risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety risk management into planning.
• Foster continuous improvement of safety processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
