Job summary

Pentland Brands is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to ensure our products are safe, compliant and market-ready across the UK, EU and beyond. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical actions for brand, product, sourcing and supplier teams, and lead responses to recalls and regulator engagements.

You will work closely with sourcing, legal and brand teams to implement ESPR, Digital Product Passport requirements and evolving regulations across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in product compliance, product safety or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of UK/EU product regulation (REACH, label, market access).
• Experience applying regulatory requirements to real products, suppliers and testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Own product compliance across UK, EU and other non-Americas markets including market access, safety, chemicals, labelling and testing.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps for brand, product, sourcing and supplier teams.
• Lead ESPR and Digital Product Passport readiness across markets.
• Apply chemical compliance requirements to product development, testing and supplier decisions.
• Manage product testing and compliance protocols to meet regulatory and market needs.
• Lead recalls responses and regulator engagement with cross-functional teams.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve compliance issues before market barriers.
• Monitor readiness and emerging risks for regulatory reporting and decision-making.
• Help strengthen and continuously improve product compliance processes and controls.
