Job summary

pladis Foods Limited, a global biscuits and confectionery business, seeks a Head of Process Excellence to lead UK&I process strategy and deployment across R&D and manufacturing.

You will embed Lean Six Sigma, SPC and DOE to boost productivity, reduce waste and enable robust trial design for new assets and technologies. Lead cross-functional teams with senior stakeholder influence and deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Food Science or Manufacturing is essential.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma, SPC and process capability experience required.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing experiments to optimise equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead process excellence aligned with UK&I priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, capacity and waste.
• Embed SPC and data-led performance review routines to reduce variation.
• Lead DOE studies with engineering and operations to optimise settings.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain and R&D.
• Build capability through training in Lean Six Sigma, SPC and trial design.
• Identify and eliminate waste and report benefits and risks to leadership.
