Job summary

Coursera is seeking a Privacy Program Manager to lead and scale global privacy operations across products, platforms and business functions. You will partner with Legal, Engineering, Product, Security and others to translate privacy requirements into practical governance and controls.

The role focuses on DPIAs, ROPAs, vendor privacy reviews and data subject rights workflows. You will develop policies, guidance and self‑service resources while monitoring evolving laws, reporting metrics, and

Qualifications

Experience managing a global privacy program in a multinational environment.
Experience with GDPR and US privacy laws (CCPA) compliance.
Ability to translate privacy requirements into scalable processes and controls.

Responsibilities

Lead core privacy program operations including privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and records of processing activities (ROPAs).
Design processes for data subject rights requests and privacy inquiries.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, Marketing and others on privacy reviews.
Develop and maintain privacy policies, standards and self‑service resources.
Monitor global privacy laws and translate legal requirements into operational controls.
Define and report privacy metrics and support incident response and data retention.
