Job summary

Papaya Global is seeking a dynamic Implementation Project Manager to steer customer onboarding for Papaya EoR and payroll solutions. You will lead timelines, manage project plans, run weekly implementation meetings, and communicate status to customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations to improve project execution, reporting, and efficiency, coordinating with Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding Managers to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Project Management or Sr. Project Management role.
• Experience in regional/global payroll operations.
• Experience leading large projects and multi-faceted engagements.
• Ability to lead multiple customers and projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Desire to actively lead customers and maintain satisfaction through follow-up and escalation as needed.
• Strong internal communication across teams (CS, Sales, Legal, Product, Operations).
• Initiative to drive improvement initiatives for customers and internal teams.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, or AI solutions.
• Experience creating AI-driven workflows integrated into project management processes.
• Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and practical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of customer onboarding and develop detailed project plans and schedules.
• Create, optimize, and drive schedules across cross-functional teams and customers.
• Lead customer interactions and act as the point of contact for weekly implementation meetings and status reports.
• Plan and schedule multiple simultaneous customer implementation projects.
• Monitor program performance and escalate risks to leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding Managers to address customer needs.
