Job summary

Papaya Global seeks a dynamic Project Manager to lead implementations of the PapayaEoR and payroll solutions across customers in a fast-growing, global payroll environment.

The role is customer-facing, driving delivery, planning, and status reporting while coordinating across cross-functional teams. Strong emphasis on leveraging AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management roles.
• Experience in regional/global payroll operations.
• Experience leading large projects and multiple customers simultaneously.
• Strong internal communication across all org levels.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows and no/low-code automations.
• Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of customer onboarding and develop detailed project plans and timelines.
• Create and drive schedules across cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
• Lead customer interactions and act as main point of contact for implementations.
• Coordinate weekly implementation meetings and prepare status reports.
• Monitor program performance and escalate risks to leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to address customer needs.
