New Energy Nexus is seeking a Global Impact Director & Knowledge Management to lead MEL, TOC, and data governance across the network. The role shapes and strengthens the organization’s learning culture, builds scalable tools, and works with country offices to align programs with the global MEL framework.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in impact measurement, strong TOC/log frame experience, and a commitment to equity.

Competenze

• Eight+ years of experience in impact measurement and management, or monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL).
• At least 3 years in climate change, clean energy and/or entrepreneurship.
• Experience developing and applying a Theory of Change (TOC), log frames, MEL plans and outcome indicators.
• Experience managing impact databases and data quality processes (Airtable or comparable).
• Experience applying equity-focused MEL approaches and inclusive methods.
• Ability to influence culture and build MEL as a core strategic competency.
• Foundational knowledge of climate/clean energy/entrepreneurship landscape.
• Willingness to travel a few times per year.
• Experience working in a global environment and coordinating across time zones.

Mansioni

• Lead the development and implementation of NEX's global MEL framework and TOC across the network.
• Refine global indicators and data standards; design MEL policies and practices.
• Co-lead annual Global Impact Report with Communications.
• Provide 1:1 advisory support and capacity building to chapters on MEL topics.
• Manage knowledge management, data systems, and AI strategy for MEL and program design.
• Ensure data privacy, quality, and cross-team accessibility of impact data.
