Job summary

Outright International is seeking a Senior Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Officer to develop MEL frameworks, support staff and grantees, and oversee learning activities across international programs. The role reports to the Global Grants Director and involves travel.

The candidate will lead on data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve program quality, inform reflection, and support advocacy and fundraising efforts within a rights-based, inclusive framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of international programs.
• Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQI rights and anti-oppression work.
• Fluency with qualitative and quantitative methods; MEL for advocacy desired.
• Ability to design training and capacity-building activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MEL frameworks and data collection tools.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting for programs.
• Lead external evaluations and develop terms of reference.
• Ensure data privacy standards across programs.
• Travel as required; report to Global Grants Director.
