Job summary

WSP is seeking a Director of Maritime Engineering to lead the Maritime Engineering team across the UK, Ireland, Europe and selected international markets. You will influence organisational performance, technical direction and growth while shaping ports, terminals and maritime infrastructure.

You will collaborate with experienced professionals globally, ensure high standards of governance and safety, and drive client satisfaction, portfolio profitability and strategic market development.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in maritime, ports or terminal engineering.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
• Strong commercial awareness including forecasting, budgets and business development.
• Track record as a senior project director or technical director on major commissions.

• Own overall performance of the Maritime Engineering team and set priorities.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Provide oversight and leadership for major commissions within scope, programme and budget.
