Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments from factory collection through to final delivery. This hands-on role coordinates freight, shipping, customs and deliveries across global markets to ensure shipments are cost-effective and delivered on time with accurate documentation.

My client are seeking a proactive, highly organised Logistics Coordinator to manage the international movement of products from factory and supplier collection through to final delivery.

This is a hands-on role coordinating freight, shipping, customs and deliveries across global markets. You will ensure shipments are cost-effective, delivered on time and supported by accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from collection through to final delivery.
• Obtain, compare and negotiate freight quotations and service options.
• Select suitable transport methods based on cost, lead time and project requirements.
• Liaise with production and project teams to confirm goods are ready for dispatch.
• Book, track and monitor shipments, providing clear delivery updates to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents and suppliers.
• Prepare and check shipping, import and export documentation.
• Identify and resolve potential delays, customs issues and other logistics challenges.
• Support improvements to logistics processes, systems and supply-chain visibility.

Skills and Experience Required

• At least three years' experience in international logistics, shipping or freight coordination.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight, containerised shipments, air freight, road freight and courier services.
• Experience working with freight forwarders and managing international deliveries.
• Good understanding of customs procedures, commodity codes, Incoterms, import duties and VAT.
• Confident comparing freight costs, negotiating services and making commercially sound decisions
