Job summary

JD Logistics is seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our UK team in Coventry. You will drive new business in cross-border logistics, warehousing and e-commerce fulfilment, coordinating with Operations and Solutions to tailor proposals.

This role demands strong relationship-building, RFQ/RFP experience, and the ability to lead complex sales cycles from prospecting to contract signing, contributing to a growing global logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Proactively acquire new UK customers through cold calling, LinkedIn, email outreach, trade fairs and customer visits; build and expand the opportunity pipeline and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Sell integrated logistics services covering cross-border ocean and air freight, warehousing, B2B/B2C and e-commerce fulfillment, line-haul and last-mile delivery, and other product lines.
• Drive complex logistics projects from opportunity to implementation; lead the full RFQ/RFP/tender process; manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract signing.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Product teams to ensure delivery and develop incremental business within existing accounts.
