Job summary

Altro, a family-owned British manufacturer, seeks an Inventory Planner to own finished goods deployment across global Floors and Walls businesses. You will optimise stock availability, balance working capital, and partner with demand planners, distribution teams and commercial groups.

Based in Letchworth, this full-time, hybrid role offers international exposure, a data-driven environment, and opportunities to drive global stock movements and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Stock management, inventory planning or similar analytical role.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Strong data analysis and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set stock targets, safety stock levels and lead times across global locations.
• Define stock categorisation strategies (ABC analysis).
• Collaborate with planning teams to optimise production runs.
• Manage inter-company stock transfers and global deployment.
• Analyze demand trends to forecast changes.
• Develop standardized global processes and KPIs.
