Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is seeking an Inventory Planner in Telford to manage product supply and replenish plans, ensuring on-time deliveries and optimal stock levels.

Role involves identifying risks, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve planning accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Inventory Planning / Purchasing / Stock Control / Materials Planning / Supply Chain Planner.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent knowledge of stock/inventory management processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and planning data management.

Up to £45,000- Depending on experience

As the Inventory Planner you will be getting involved in:

• Managing product supply to meet demand and service targets
• Creating and maintaining replenishment or production plans
• Identifying and resolving supply risks, shortages and delays
• Monitoring inbound deliveries to ensure on-time receipt
• Optimising stock levels to balance availability and cost
• Acting on excess, ageing or slow-moving inventory
• Liaising with suppliers on orders, schedules and performance
• Maintaining accurate planning data within ERP systems
• Analysing data to improve planning accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply activities

What experience will you need?

• You will have worked in a similar role within Inventory Planning / Purchasing / Stock Control / Materials Planning / Materials Control / Supply Chain Planner and have excellent knowledge of stock/inventory management processes.
• Working with ERP systems and managing planning data
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Identifying and resolving supply chain or stock-related issues
• Communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Operating in a fast-paced, multi-product or manufacturing environment (desirable)
