Job summary

Glassworks London is seeking an experienced Inventory Merchandiser & Allocation Planner to own the recurring inventory merchandising process. You will learn and safely operate a proprietary model, provide allocation, replenishment, transfers and capacity planning for five stores and ecommerce, and collaborate with Product/Buying, Retail, Ecommerce and Warehouse teams.

The role requires hands-on Excel proficiency, strong merchandising judgement, and the ability to work remotely within UK business

Qualifications

• Assortment, option or range planning aligned to capacity and performance.
• Store capacity planning to optimise stock depth and options.
• Multi-store stock allocation across stores and ecommerce.
• Inter-store stock balancing to fix under/over stock.
• Sell-through, stock-cover and stock-turn analysis for decisions.
• Manage size and SKU-level availability across channels.
• Translate analysis into concrete stock actions.
• Experience across physical retail and ecommerce.
• Overstock, ageing management to protect profitability.
• Navigate large, formula-driven Excel models.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly inventory merchandising rhythm: allocation, replenishment, transfers and store-capacity actions.
• Provide signals to Product/Buying for intake and assortment decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve stock availability and sell-through.
• Maintain clear stock-action queues and track execution with Warehouse/Retail teams.
• Improve store and channel stock productivity across channels.
