Job summary

Be-IT Ltd in Glasgow is searching for a senior Insurance & Risk Manager to lead multinational insurance programmes on a hybrid, contract basis. You’ll work with the Group Head of Risk & Insurance to shape risk transfer strategies and manage renewals across territories.

The role requires deep technical insurance expertise, London market knowledge, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving loss prevention and claims recoveries for a global business.

Qualifications

• Technical insurance expertise in a multinational environment.
• London market renewal, placement and claims experience.
• Broad cover class knowledge: Property, BI, Casualty, Marine Cargo, Financial Lines.
• ACII or equivalent professional qualification.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Risk management, commercial or M&A experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Running the global programme and leading annual renewal start to finish.
• Coordinate local policies, premium allocation and compliance across territories.
• Advise on coverage, policy wordings and contracts for tenders, projects, M&A.
• Lead claims and loss prevention and risk-engineering activity across the Group.
• Manage brokers and insurers; shape future risk-financing strategy.
