Job summary

Clarks is seeking an experienced Group Insurance and Risk Manager to lead the global insurance programme, coordinating with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders to ensure robust coverage and risk transfer. The role focuses on insurance, with risk reporting and continuity planning as key supports.

You will oversee renewals, claim management, and advisory activities across a global business, with hybrid or remote arrangements and collaboration with multiple functions to identify emerging

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate insurance and risk management environments.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance programmes and renewals.
• Experience working with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to assess risks and make balanced commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Clarks' global insurance programme and renewals.
• Develop relationships with brokers and insurers.
• Manage insurance claims from notification through to resolution.
• Advise on insurance coverage, policy wording and risk transfer.
• Review programme structure, premiums and excess levels for value and protection.
• Support cyber insurance activity with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop the Group risk register.
• Coordinate quarterly principal risk reporting for senior leadership and Audit Committee.
• Support and test business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Health & Safety and other functions to manage risks.
