Job summary

Clarks is seeking a Group Insurance and Risk Manager to lead our global insurance programme and partner with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders. The role focuses on insurance coverage, renewals, claims management and risk transfer across a multinational operation.

Hybrid/remote options are considered, with a strategic opportunity to shape risk management and continuity planning within a respected consumer brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate insurance management or broking environments.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance programmes, renewals and claims management.
• Experience working with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to assess risks and make balanced commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage global insurance programme and annual renewals.
• Develop relationships with brokers and insurers.
• Manage insurance claims from notification to resolution.
• Provide advice on coverage, policy wording and risk transfer.
• Review programme structure, premiums and excess levels.
• Support cyber insurance activity with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop the Group risk register.
• Coordinate quarterly principal risk reporting for senior leadership and Audit Committee.
• Support and test business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Health & Safety on emerging risks.
