Job summary

LuxExperience is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to join the Customs team in Charlton. You will manage inbound stock imports and customer outbound orders, ensure all documents are compliant, and coordinate with suppliers, carriers and vendors daily.

The role requires knowledge of international customs, Incoterms, harmonised tariff systems, and air export procedures, with an eye for risk and efficiency. Hybrid working and a supportive, diverse team are offered.

Qualifications

• A strong organizer with attention to detail and methodical work approach.
• Knowledge of international customs laws/regulations and export policies.
• Understanding of AIR export documentation and procedures.
• HTS/HMRC codes, duty relief and incoterms knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inbound stock imports and customer outbound orders with correct cost and timing.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers and vendors; ensure compliant documentation for import and re-export.
• Classify goods using Harmonised Tariff System.
• Provide clear import clearance instructions to carriers.
• Support customer care to ensure delivery of shipments.
• Process urgent non-customer shipment requests and prepare shipping docs.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and propose compliance solutions.
