Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd in Corby is seeking an experienced Import/Export Shipping Co-ordinator to manage the smooth movement of goods to and from international customers and suppliers. You will coordinate shipments by road, sea, air and courier; prepare documentation; liaise with freight forwarders and customers; and monitor shipments to resolve delays while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in international shipping and freight forwarding.
• Recent experience in import/export co-ordination and documentation.
• Understanding of shipping docs, customs processes and Incoterms.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, able to manage deadlines.
• Confident communicating with external suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments by road, sea, air and courier.
• Prepare and check shipping, customs and export documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, suppliers and customers.
• Arrange collections, deliveries, packing, labelling and associated shipping requirements.
• Monitor shipments, resolve delays and keep stakeholders updated.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, freight costs and delivery information.
• Review freight invoices and support cost reconciliation.
• Ensure shipments comply with relevant customs and international shipping requirements.
